If you’ve ever seen my work you know that one of my favorite motifs is the beautiful range of mountains surrounding my home. Massanutten Mountain and Signal Knob loom large and ever-present and are so familiar that sometimes, for me, the view can take a flight of fancy.
Such is my painting, Pink Mist on the Massanutten. Most of what you see is purely imaginary and a study of what I think the mountain would look like covered in a veil of early morning pink fog.
