Last Light on the Mountain Posted by Diane Furlong on Jun 29 2012 / 4 Comments I wanted to do a painting that was mostly empty sky with a low horizon. The time of day is late evening so I was able to create additional drama by pushing the colors made by the setting sun. Your comments are welcome. Very appropriate for this day, even though I know that may not be what you had in mind. It’s glorious, in any case. That red is very stunning! It is a painting showing the effect of light on the mountain from the setting sun. Thanks for sharing it. Barbara Artz Paquin says: June 29, 2012 at 8:17 pm Yes, I know that about the light.
